Dr. Jim Pritchett, principal at Rolla High School, is a Consummate Professional, according to the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals.
That’s the award they gave to him at the association’s spring conference earlier in the month, and on Thursday night, April 27, the Rolla Board of Education affirmed that estimation by the association when the board presented Pritchett with a board recognition award.
Pritchett, one of eight Missouri principals receiving the award from the association, represents the South Central Region.
Many students were given board recognition awards on Thursday night, too.
Pritchett credited students, parents, teachers, support staff, administrators and the board for supporting him in his worth with young people.
“I’m fortunate to work with a great group of people,“ Pritchett said after he received the board recognition award from school board President Dr. Greg Stratman.
The association gave Pritchett $500 at its conference at Lake of the Ozarks, and he told the board he would give it to a senior in the form of a scholarship.
